Swiss Army Knife Digital Goodness

If you’ve ever wondered where the Swiss Army Knife came from or got its name, the Swiss Army started equipping every soldier with a pocket knife as far back as 1896. Since September 11 though, manufacturers have been having it tough and have been reinventing one of the world’s best-known and most enduring tools.

Victorinox is one such manufacturer, and “is seeking to turn the symbol of Swiss quality and reliability into a can’t-do-without product for high-tech aficionados. It is embracing electronic gadgetry, notably the memory stick for storing and transporting presentations or database files.

Depending on the model, its SwissMemory knife can store 64 to 512 megabytes of memory, and can be plugged into a computer’s USB port. The knives’ prices range from $71 to $150.”

Now, that is one sharp gadget. :D
